Gabe Brown
I'd give my right arm to own one of these paintings. Her work is simply sublime. Click here to view even more gorgeousness. :)

The pressure is on! Your help requested!
I received an email from a young lady who is a sophomore in high school. She has received an assignment from her Advanced Drawing Class to draw something that is beautiful, either physically or emotionally. She is trying to find a picture to draw from but is having a lot of trouble so she asked if I had a picture of something beautiful.
Since this is for a grade and an advanced one at that, I felt a little sweat break out on my brow. I have lots of great images and my pick is posted here. But I know so many of my readers have their own blogs, or are fantastic photographers, each with their own vast archive of images so my request to you is that if you would like to help please post your suggestion here with a link to your photograph of choice. I know that amongst all of you there will be one picture that will be perfectly suited for her assignment.
Thanks in advance for your participation!

My choice is a microscopic view of the cells of a leaf. I chose it for its physical beauty in composition and color. :)

More from Miguel...
Miguel Bohmer has been so gracious as to share more images that include some pictures of his atelier and his previous flat in Montmartre. It is exciting for me to get a glimpse into his work process as I am sure it is for other "aspiring" artists as well. I love his personal decor style...is so simple and restful. Enjoy and thanks to Miguel.
