Purple

For some reason the word purple makes me smile. It's sort of a silly sounding word. I'm preparing to change my little girl's room into a big girl's room and purple it will be. I'm not looking to do some big acid tripped out purple room, but rather something more subdued and stately, like the room below. I like the thought of lots of white with purple and brown and chartreuse and perhaps a hint of autumn orange in a painting somewhere. (image via Nuevo Estilo)
