Ebay seller ssumbaugh sells sea glass from the seashore in lots of over 200 hundred pieces. For those of us with no ocean in sight, it would be nice to have this lovely reminder of the sea in our home. CB2's cylinder vases would be the perfect container. Fill them to the brim and you've got a gorgeous accessory.

While the sea glass is beautiful and I love the idea of bringing nature into my home, I would be concerned about the environmental effects of removing so much from the beaches.
Hey I did this! Its exactly how I display the sea glass I've collected right here in Maine.
I went to college in Hawaii and one of my favorite things to do was spend hours collecting sea glass. You're right, it really would look beautiful in those vases. Did you know that there's actually a sea glass festival in Santa Cruz and have a contest for "best shard of the year"? I would LOVE to attend!
Anonymous, sea glass is glass thrown into the ocean and tumbled until it's smooth. It's essentially trash, so removing it from the beaches has zero environmental effect.
