I love these colors and am wondering in the second picture is that wall painted black? I'm seeing this more and more lately and absolutely love the look! I only wish I could be so brave and try this in my apartment but wouldn't know how/where to start. I hope to see more spaces done in black to show others how beautiful this looks!
I'm not sure anonymous. It looks the color of a chalkboard. I'm going to say it is more of a charcoal gray, very dark, almost black. I agree, it's gorgeous!
Thanks for the reply. I had originally considered doing a chalkboard wall in my dining area. The wall is no where near my dining table and again I just love the color. But then I began to see the black or what appears to be black color. I simply love the look! I'm going to check out Benjamin Moore Paints to see if they have anything close to this color. I believe the black will or could be very intense for the space I have in mind. Right now my walls are linen white and the trim in white. It's a pretty open space and my only accent colors are a soft pink and avocado green. These colors are very soft and calming but don't actually stimulate or add any surprise or interest in the space.
Be sure and let me know what you find out and feel free to share photos. :)
I certainly will - thanks!
