Geometric Storage Unit

The other day Casapinka was discussing how sometimes having an item custom built is cost effective and of greater quality. I would have to agree. I promised to share a picture of my own custom built piece which somewhat, okay mostly, resembles West Elm's Geometric Storage Unit. My neighbor created this for me and I have to say it is one of my favorite things. I still have a few shelves to fill but am waiting on the perfect piece to fill it.

Holy COW that looks good, J. You'll have it forever, too. Such a good feeling. Your house looks so cool - howsabout some more photos sometime?

That is fabulous. I wish I had neighbours like that mine are - a marine geologist, a bomb disposal expert, a sculptress, a doctor and a farmer. Not much chance of me getting shelves like that then.

Dear another shade of grey. I have been looking at your blog for a couple of weeks but too scared to make a comment because I know nothing about design. I thought I would say I love looking at the pics you post and reading about all the different designs and designers.

Thanks for the kudos. I will put up more pictures...eventually. :)

Gypsy Purple, good to see you again.

Lady Di,
You might not get shelves, but you'll definitely have some interesting dinner parties. :)

I really like that Shelve. It is interesting to see things like this, that you have no idea exist. Reminds me of my Sister in law who never told me about expecting a grandchild until the "bun was almost out of the oven" Really pretty J.I love the energy of the colors.I love your blog.Keep up the goodwork.
