The color purple is on the horizon as a major trend in colors for 2008. When most people think of purple they either think "Prince" or "bleckkkk". But purple, if used appropriately, is so classy. Both of the rooms below, designed by Purple Design , contain hues of the color purple and are great examples of how purple can be done with taste. I, personally, consider gray to be a hue of purple. I know we're all still adjusting to the recent trends of greens and blues and yellows, but just so you're prepared, be on the look out for P-U-R-P-L-E. :)

Ooo... I love those purple lamp shades. And what a base! Very nice interior here.
I love those lamps too, Jon. :)
I looove this look! I recently moved into a new apartment and am working on a black, white and grey theme with shots of jewel purple (although my apartment isn't half as beautiful as the one in these pics).
Where are those pictures from? Whose home is that?
Sorry, just saw the link to Purple Design. Thanks!
I've been trying to find the perfect grey-ish/purple for the guest room, which has big thick white mouldings at the ceiling, around the window, and baseboards- either of these would look great! I'd love the know the paint color of both of these if you know it... Thanks!
Hi lacey. I love this look too. I'm having to restrain myself from doing a complete renovation. I'm thinking I may be able to squeeze it into my bedroom. :)
Olive, I don't know the paint color but I will email the design firm "Purple Design" and ask if they can share. I'll get back with you on that. :) Thanks for visiting.
