I just thought I'd let you know that I have this exact necklace- and I got it at Target about a month ago. While I suppose it is a possibility that my necklace is an excellent reproduction of this vintage necklace, I doubt it. It was also featured in Lucky, I believe.
Jessy, while I'm sure the necklace you purchased at Target is lovely, I'm pretty positive it is not celluloid. All retailers, including Target, knock off vintage and modern day items every day. It's the cycle of design.
Just so you know...This necklace was purchased at an estate sale-and the prior owner was 90 years old and the necklace was out of her collection. No Target here.
