That second poster is GORGEOUS..the colours are so pretty. And you're right about then being cheap!!
Oh yes, I love the graphics of the feathers on the second one. :)
i found these on ebay too and totally fell in love! i'm a bit obsessed with peacocks at the moment :)
Has anyone actually purchased one of these?
I checked the seller out on toolhaus and he has a number of neutrals and negatives claiming it was poorly printed and that the pictures in the listing are inaccurate (i.e. of the original and not the reproduction thus mistakes crop in). I've had so many bad sellers lately (4 of the last 7 ebay purchases; all 99.5% positive feedback and above) that I'm hesitant to buy from this seller because of those comments; particularly as I dislike his tone in replying to negative comments (which often signals a less than ideal transaction might occur).
So, personal experiences since I think the items look beautiful and I have a place for them?! Thanks!
I've just emailed for international shipping costs. If he ships to Australia I think I'll be abusing my paypal account again. I'm assuming they are only going to be colour photocopy quality because of the price but the designs are so beautiful and the price so cheap I don't really care. Another great find! If he doesn't ship I might just have to draw them :)
Chelsea, I have never purchased one but can say that with 24,000 sales you would expect a few negatives. A 99.7% positive feedback with that many sales means something, from my ebay experience. Having said that, the price is so cheap I think it's worth the risk.
Jo, let me know if he ships internationally. You're right, for the price it is worth it, IMO. Beautiful designs. Definitely inspiring. I would love to see a modern take on these so if you happen to draw them do share. :)
I got an email back. He does ship internationally. Postage and handling to Australia (and believe me that is the other side of the world) is $8.95 for one or both. I'm on my way to order now.
Oh, that's great. Be sure and let us know what the product looks like in person. :)
